  Why Do I Do What I Do?

 

 

Thanks for stopping by today...this time of the year always brings me back to thinking about why do I do what I do....I'm often asked that question....and this is the time of the year I always reflect back onto that question.  Why, you ask....this is the month 18 years ago I decided to take the plunge and join the SU family.....yup.....it's been that long.....

 

I'm nothing different than you...I have a full time job....have a family (well over the years they have gown into beautiful adults.....and even brought me grandchildren)...have a home to take care of (both inside and out)....and all the day to day goings on.....but...18 years ago...I decided....why not? 

 

Why not take a chance....join the SU family and see what happens.....

 

So....never in my wildest dreams would it have amounted to what it is today...now granted, I'm not the top saleswoman in the company, I don't have thousands of stampers in my team....I don't make $1 million dollars a year, but I love it!  It's simply that! 

 

Stampin' Up! has been with me since 1999 and while many things in my life have let me down....this has never!  I've been through many traumatic personal issues in my life, but SU was always there for me.....people pay thousands of dollars for therapy.....I STAMP!

 

This leads me to my recent adventure with SU....I received a call last year from someone wanting to place an order...she had moved to this area from not that far away but was looking for a demonstrator to order....what else...our Whisper White products!  I talked to her for a bit...helped her with what she needed and even got her a catalog package together and sent it out.....I also found out that she was a bit more of a stone's throw away from me!  Well we ended up chatting through Facebook, Messaging and such...but never met this person....until yesterday!

 

Well, I know she won't mind me sharing our little story...now, mind you, I have never met her before but messaged her that I had a special catalog saved for her...and that I would love to drop it off...when life kind of got in the way for a little bit but yesterday we met....

 

Carole is a wonderful woman...someone that invited me into her home and into her life.....We talked like we were friends forever....chatting about our lives, our love of animals (which she has the sweetest furbabies) and very little about stamping......We even discovered we share the same birthday!  OMG.....how amazing this woman is....and after returning home, I knew what I was going to blog about today...not really of stamping....but of my WHY...my WHY I do what I do....This is just a little sampling of my WHY.....

 

What is your WHY...your WHY of not joining this fabulous company and fabulous network of people?  My WHY is now...WHY NOT?

 

So...without making this a novel.....I just wanted to share a little part of my WHY.....and I want to thank each and every one of  you that has impacted my life...

whether you know it or not...YOU HAVE!
