Non Stamping Related - But Something I Need to Share....

I have a story to share today....sorry...non stamping related...something personal about me.

 

Well.....this happened.....

 

As many of you know I lost my BFF Minnie last April....she was my everything...my best friend...my buddy...my confidant.....I have been devastated ever since....and I've been thinking of getting another dog....but then not....but then  yes....but then not....but then....well....this happened to me on 7/1/17...

This picture was taken of her at the Blue Chip Rescue on the day that I met her...she, like all of us has a past...and like us, we sometimes don't want to think or remember the past....we need a fresh new shart...a new beginning...a new life...and I think....we needed each other!

 

 

This is a picture of her last week...when I was getting ready for work...she kind of looks like...Mommy...do you have to go to work?  :-(

 

I wish I didn't, I told her, but I did.....and she totally understood....

 

This is a picture just the other day....actually Thursday evening....Aurora and I resting after our third walk of the day...yes....sometimes more...if time permits....

 

We are learning about each other....learning our likes and dislikes (she still isn't too sure of Dory yet)...but it's a work in progress....just like our lives...and I am very grateful for Aurora coming into my life.....and I'm sure she feels the same about me......
