Oh The Weather Outside Is Frightful......

Oh..the weather outside is frightful....bur the fire is.....ooops....so sorry.

 

It's only August and here I am...thinking about fires, cool weather and the "S" word...OMG...I think there is something wrong with me....well it's nothing other than I'm excited about the new Holiday Catalog.....how about you?  Want to see it now?  Like...right now? 

 

OOOPPS...sorry for demos eyes only...unless.

Here's a little something to give you an idea for a holiday gift...and no...you don't have to wait until the Holiday Catalog...you can begin creating your gifts now....while you have time...and even get the kiddos to help you before they head back to school!

 

Okay...so the candles...they are battery operated...and before you even ask...I got them from the Dollar Tree!  Yes....and they even came with the batteries..

 

These are a newer kind of candle...they are white and they actually have a thin layer of wax over the plastic...and the "flame" even flickers like a real candle...the picture doesn't give it justice!

 

 

All I did was die cut the snowflakes from the Seasonal Layers Framelits from Ultrathick Whisper White cardstock.  I like using the Ultra thick cardstock as it has a bit more body to the shapes...being they are so intricate.  I also used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets onto the snowflakes as the "glue" for the snowflakes to the candles. 

 

I didn't take a final picture...but I also ended up adding some of our Rhinestones for some bling....along with that bling ribbon...the bomb!

 

Now..I have a little secret...or maybe you already know this?

 

I did order the candles from the DT online..yes!  You can order online...free shipping if you pick up at your local DT store!  How amazing is that?
