Welcome to the 2nd Annual Ultimate Pink Blog Hop

On this hop you will find many demonstrators sharing lots of “pink” projects – use any of Stampin’ UP!’s pinks/shades of pink and current Stampin’ UP! products
to create a card, tag, scrapbook page, home decor piece, gift wrap, etc.

I have decided to share with you a card....and a stamp set which I absolutely adore...

Ribbon of Courage Item # 143852 (W)  and #143855 (C).  I also used the coordinating framelits dies, Support Ribbon Item # 143749.

The background was stamped over and over using the solid ribbon stamp and Powder Pink Cardstock and Blushing Bride Stampin' Ink.
 I did a simple layer of CS sized 4 x 5 1/4 on a standard A2 sized card.

I also punched out a vellum circle using the 2 1/4 Circle  punch.
I also used a scrap of White ribbon (retired) wrapped around
under the first CS layer and adhered it to the back.

A scrap strip of Powder Pink Cardstock was stamped with the "courage" stamp onto a scrap of Powder Pink and punched to make a flag on the end using the Triple Banner Punch. I also did the same with a scrap piece of Silver Foil Paper (great way to use up scraps)

I was able to adhere the vellum circle under the ribbon using Stampin' Dimensions.  The ribbon stamp was stamped using our Archival Basic Black ink and cut out using the Framelits.  I then colored in the ribbon stamp using Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette, Pear Pizzazz, Smokey Slate and our Stampin' White Chalk Markers.

The colored ribbon was adhered to the vellum circle using Fast Fuse Adhesive.

I'm anxious to see what everyone else has created on the Blog Hop.....so let the blog hopping continue!

Have a SUper Stampin' Day!  Glimmer Hugs!

  2. Great card. I love the way you have created your own background and then made the ribbon embellishment stand apart from the background. Thanks for sharing
