It's Friday the 13th..... but I'm so lucky.....that you are here!
So...how did you week go for you? For me, it was a phew!
It's been a busy few weeks....oh heck.....it's been a busy few months.....lol
Last night I had the opportunity to teach at a local high school a stamping class. This is a series of three classes for three weeks....and I have to say....(there were eight wonderful women I met)....doing classes like this with newbie stampers (and a few return stampers) was so much fun!
The excitement I see in their eyes as they create their first card.....wow......just lost for words.
They had asked a lot of questions and it made me think of the first day I ever held a stamp in my hand and created my work of art......but you know....after almost 18 years of being a demonstrator, it never gets old.....I heard a few women state last night how this could become very addicting....but heck....it's better than many other things out in the world today to be addicted to....and I tend to think of it like mind therapy.....with no copay! :-)
How about you? What's you first stamping experience? I'd love to hear!
I'm excited to get working on supplies for next week's class already. One of the women started making a list for me for what they were interested in learning and seeing....I hope I live up to their expectations!
Onward...it is finally spring here in NEPA....well for a few days anyhow...and how refreshing it is to actually leave the house without a jacket (or gloves/boots)!
It's looking to be a beautiful weekend and lots of activities on my calendar but I hope if you also have a list of chores to do, please take time for yourself.....to enjoy life....and breath in the air...sit back...and think about how fortunate we all are.....
