Toe Problems......Heavy Sigh!.....

So...last night I figured I had better go shopping for closed in toes for the On Stage Event in Connecticut.....with this weather....I think there is talk of more snow.....

 

I was planning on flip flops....but not sure that is a good idea.

 

So....backing up a bit...last November I was having a problem with one of my toes....had it checked out....proves to be a hammer toe....So orthotics for shoes which worked for a while and then stopped...then made multiple appoints with a foot doctor...which had to be canceled because of...yes...snow (which doesn't seem to be my friend these days)....but I bought this new pair of Skecher sneakers which have Memory Foam and they have been the bomb!   The foam apparently contoured to my toe issues and I've been putting it off getting checked....

thinking it would go away?  NOT!

 

So now...shopping for shoes....not going to happen....the shoes were so painful with this hammer toe issue... I came home with nothing....so I have this very pretty outfit to wear on stage....and no shoes to wear! YIKES!   Last resort...sneakers outside and maybe a pair of flip flops inside....so that's the plan anyhow.....but my toe hurts....it was screaming...please...no more shoe trying!  :-) 

 

Now....onward.....

 

Speaking of flip flops...and I am so ready (think I need a pedicure now)....lol

 

How about thinking spring or even yet....summer?
