Happy Wet Tuesday!
Yup....rain again! YUCK!
So...you know the saying...things happen for a reason.....well, I am a firm believer of that for sure!
So...yesterday after working all day and taking my mom to her doctor appointment (and a bite to eat) I got home to take care of my animals...and my poor Tommy (my kitty)....well, let's just say he is having a bad week himself.....he had some projectile vomiting of all of his food.....if you don't know, Tommy has been sick off and on for about two years now....not really sure of what he has...without extensive testing and I just don't want to put him through all of that.....but it happened a few times....and I figured I had better get the mop out and mop the floor....so as I opened the basement door and turned on the light to get the mop and bucket...I see water down my basement...well....to make a long story short...water came up through the drain in the basement floor (even though there is a cap on it)...so I called my friend Jim and he came over to help me clean up...along with uncap it and we had two things that would have happened....a....the water would go down....or b...more water would coming shooting out....yeah...what a decision it was...50/50 shot...so he uncapped it and yippee...the water went down the drain..now I have to get a new drain cap as the sealant around the drain just had enough and it's time to replace.....so...running the fan all night and trying to dry out!
So...here today...wake up...MORE RAIN!
Mother Nature, if you are listening (or reading this)...enough is enough...a horrible winter....really!
A rainy change over and I have had enough!
So..keeping my fingers crossed there are no more mishaps.....today.....and tomorrow I hope too!
So...needless to say...I got no crafting time last night like I had planned on it!
