Having fun with new supplies!

Hi there and Happy Sunday

I've had some down time these days and not wanting to over due it being back to work and all so what better to do......STAMP!

I'm excited with the soon to be released catalog...there's not much time left before you cannot order from the current Stampin' Up! catalog but oh so much to be seen in the new catalog release!  I hope you have planning on attending my Open House on Friday, 6/6/14...lots of for sale items as well as a make 'n take and prizes and surprises....lots of fun as well...come and go as you please...bring a friend...free gifts for new friend stampers!

Anyhow...thought I would play with my new favorite stamp set, Work of Art....as well as our new 2014-2016 In Colors (and a new heart punch which is in a bundle set of three new punches including the heart, flower and a star).

Here is a great sharing idea which I picked up for the demo only web site, Stampin' Connection which is filled with sharing ideas from thousands of demonstrators..this is a great way to see the new colors brought in this year (for two years) from Stampin' Up!

 

I have to admit, when I first saw these new colors, I was like...ahh...but working with them now for the past few weeks.....can I say...LOVE EM! 

 

When you first see them, you may think they are a lot like some current colors, but when you bring them next to one another...not!  Close but beautiful colors that work well together and I'm excited they will be around for two years!

 

I also love this card lay out....and just the touch of the heart popped up on a dimensional adds a special something....
