Stampin' Up! will be celebrating 30 years in business this year!
WOW! I'm so thrilled that I will be able to celebrate this special year anniversary.
As you may not know, I joined Stampin' Up! in 2000 .....My story? Not much different than any other demonstrator's stories....
I heard about Stampin' Up! from a friend. She hosted a party.....I didn't want to go....and it ended up snowing and the party was cancelled...Phew! Thank goodness.
But....then the party was rescheduled and my friend say, you have to come...it's so much fun....sigh!
I had never stamped a day in my life.....but I went....with my daughter, Michelle.....
Here's the catalog that was the current one at that time.......
Well, I was hooked from that day forward....I then hosted my own party.....and then decided.....heck..I like this...I think I want to do it!
So...not knowing anything but what I had seen at two parties....I did it!
What was my first set you ask?
How many of you remember Button Bear? This was my first stamp set purchase (along with lots more)...lol
I have to say....that back then...we had no choice like we do today....the kit I believe was $250, not the $99 it is today and we got what we got....for me...that didn't matter as I had barely anything.....and the story started there......
Here I am.....soon to be 18 years later (my anniversary date is in June)...and wow....what an adventure.
Here's a variety of other retired catalogs:
So...what do you think? Are you ready to begin your own adventure and write your story?
If so......I'd love to help you with it.....or if you are on the fence...let's get together for a cup of coffee and talk about how you can incorporate Stampin' Up! into your busy life....after all, we all need a bit of craft therapy from time to time and what better way that with Stampin' Up! and either make some $$$ to pay off those holiday bills.....or save $$$ or heck...Just have Fun!
Contact me today....let's see how Stampin' Up! can change your life....as much as it has for me!
Have a SUper Stampin' Day!
Glimmer Hugs!
