Hello Stampers and Happy Cold Wednesday....brrrrr....looks like winter is here.

With this chilly weather, I find myself "hiding" out in my stamp room upstairs where my upstairs is always warmer than my downstairs.....but hey...that's okay, right?  Love being in my stamp room and being creative.  I have pretty much all I need in there to sustain life....lol...well, almost.

I've been so busy lately with my upcoming classes, working on my next year's class schedule, my swaps for Leadership Conference in January, and also personal things going on in my life.

I cannot even believe that Thanksgiving is about two weeks away...where is this month going? OMG!

I am going to be cooking the turkey dinner this year, so that will be fun....but I find not much cooking these days, so hopefully I won't burn and ruin the whole dinner...how about you?  What are you plans?

You won't want to miss my next upcoming stamp class on 11/19th. We'll be creating a Christmas Card Stamp A Stack creating a total of six cards, three designs, two of each.  These types of classes are always popular...they are classy, simple and so easy to recreate when you go home, so be sure to register early for this class.

I also just finished up my invites for my Annual Christmas Cookie Exchange to be held on 12/2/12 at my home.  If you are a baker and have never attended, or if you would like an invite to attend, please let me know. It's a lot of fun to share your homemade goodies, meet new friends and old, enjoy the start of the holiday season and just taste some yummy new goodies.  I'm also adding an optional ornament exchange if you wish to participate.  Bring along a wrapped approximately $5 ornament to swap. I love ornaments and when decorating my tree from year to year enjoy all the memories associated with my ornaments.  My tree is filled mostly with handmade ornaments and I love it. My daughter and I also created a paper chain that is so much fun to add the homemade look to my little tree.

This is a fun ornament card which I created with our Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and coordinating framelits.  I love the simple classy look of this card and the snowflake embossing folder just adds to the classiness (is that a word?)

Here's another card I created using our beautiful glimmer paper and the same stamp set and framelits.  The photo doesn't do it justice...it is so glimmery and beautiful in person and another simple but elegant card.  I love this one for sure!

Well I here we might be in for our first s nowfall of the season later today/tonight...guess I'll be back in my stamp room creating (and keeping warm).

Looking to my first Stamper's Six Card Club tomorrow evening.  Here's a hint as to what we'll be creating.....a fun 3 D craft to hang on your tree....something really cool....so if you are attending....you'll see what I mean tomorrow evening!  :-)

Stay warm and Happy Stampin!

Susan
