Happy New Year's Eve
Minnie had me up early again this morning...seems to happen more and more...gotta keep that fur gal up later from now on...anyhow, this gives me a few minutes to post on my blog.
My life has been super busy/crazy these past few weeks. I'm sure you can relate...and just when you think things will slow down....boom....NOT! lol
As I think of the past year that has past, overall it was a "good" year....but many losses have occurred.
Most of us want to think of the good things that have occurred, but today, feeling a bit sad as I think of all the saddening things have have happened....from flooding, storm damage, loses of our children and loved ones, etc. We often wonder why? Why do these things happen....but most off, we wonder what can we do to improve this crazy world?
Life can be better with small little things that we can do to help those dealing with life issues....maybe just a smile to a stranger passing, helping an older person to simply hold the door for them...a quick good morning or just a simple thank you. We tend to forget these simple acts of kindness....so instead of looking at making new year resolutions, I want to look at doing simple acts of kindness...even just a simple card to a friend....just because.....
I am asking you to join me in this way to make someone smile....just because....
I wish you and your family a Happy New Year. I'm going to spend the evening with my grandson, Travis, and hold him tightly...thanking God for bringing him into my life when I needed it most....we often wonder why these tragedies occur in our life and then we look in the eyes of our children...so innocent...and yet....them not knowing how much they can change our lives on a daily basis.
Hug your loved ones tight....be thankful for each and every day...make the most of each day...give a stranger a simple hello and a smile and may this year be the year that we all can make a difference.
Thank you for all you do to support me in my pesonal/and my business life. I wish you and your family a Happy New Year! Let's work together to make this the best year ever....enjoy your holiday....see you next year!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
SUSAN
