Get Wheelin'
Yup...that's right....I'm going to talk about our Stampin' Around Wheel System....have you ever popped a wheelie? lol No...not just with your bike as a child but with out Stampin' Around Wheels....these are well loved and often forgotten, but yesterday as I shared with you how to dismount your wheel and create a fun stamp, today I'm going to go traditional and talk about how much fun it is to use, how quick you can cover and create your background and how easy it is to use.
Our Stampin' Around System consists of your favorite wheel, an ink cartridge (or an ink pad) and the Stampin' Arouind Handle. There are two sizes, standard and jumbo. You will need to have a jumbo handle for the jumbo and standard handle for the standard.
I just received one of the newest wheels, our Gingham Wheel...this wheel is so much fun. Here's an easy sample that I created which was CASEd (copy and share everything) from a fellow demonstrator friend. I love the simplicity of this card and of course used one of our newest colors, Strawberry Slush (one of my favorites, next to Baked Brown Sugar).
This one is basically the same design except I ran the wheel going the other direction.
This card was created with an all over wheelin'. I started out creating one of the cards above but ended up a bit crazy with my wheelin, so I did an all over background. I also added one of my clay flowers which I created by adding a reinker to the clay and kneeded the color into the clay and pressed into the mold, allowed to dry and then added to the center of the stamped and punched out circle...love the simple look.
I love the wheels and this might be something I get back into...they create a fun background, cover a lot of space in a short time and also so much fun. At your next party/demonstration, request a wheel theme...I would love to share with you more fun projects using wheels...now....what are you waiting for?????
GET WHEELIN'
Have a great day! Susan
