Hello Stampin' Peeps!

Sorry for the MIA (missing in action)...just seems like since I've returned from convention, I have been in Stamin' Mode....yes....stampin' up a storm and creating like crazy...ever feel that way with life?  You get the "bug" but this is one of those good bugs!  lol

Wow...I don't even know where to start first with all that is going on with me and SU...The Paper Pumpkin $10 for two month promotion!  WHAT?  Wait....yes....you read that correctly....you can sign up for Paper Pumpkin and receive it for two months for only $10 a month...YUPPPPPP...now....let me show you what I did with July's PP....

Okay...now...here is what you are suppose to create...well...I suppose it is a suggestion...they are really cute banners....you can add to a cake/cupcakes and it's fun....

 

However...here's what I created....my niece graduated from high school this year and I needed to make her an extra special card....so I thought...what a f un card this would create....I made her a big card...using an entire sheet of CS that folded....

 

Here's a closer look....after I thought I was done, it needed a girlie "bling" so I added some fun rhinestones....and the bottom part is the envelope that I also decorated..hmmm...maybe I ought to add some bling to that too....I am loving this and the PARTY words are actually hanging on the "clothesline" with the teeny clothespins....it definitely screams party and I think she'll love it...what a great way to be creative with the Paper Pumpkin kit!

 

 

Now...something else that is new with SU!  Have you heard of UNDEFINED?  Well, it is actually a kit that you can create and carve your own stamps...yes....you can...and I did....

 

Did you ever wish there were a certain stamp of something that you would search high and low to find?  Well, now you can create your own...all you need to do is pencil draw an image, take the rubber part of the kit and rub the image on it and using the special carving tools, carve your stamp and then mount it onto the wood and stamp away!  Woo Hoo!  Can I get another WOO HOO!

 

Here's what I created.....

 

It's a picture of my dog, Minnie...she is a Weimaramer and if you are a Weim lover, you know how hard it is to find anything Weim related...so I made one myself....I cannot wait to create more fun designs....the kit comes with more than enough supplies to create a few stamps.  This is one of my favorites for sure!

 

One more share.....the holidays are quickly approaching and with Travis in my life (my grandson for those of you that don't know) Halloween is something fun again...not that it wasn't but it is basically for kiddos...or big kids...but I've been having so much fun creating some fun decorations for when Travis comes to Grammas....here's a few things I've created....

 

This is a quick "sign".  I used our new DSP (Designer Series Paper) in the current Holiday Catalog and added a few embelishments....

 

 Using the same DSP as above, I created this fun banner...and a bit of our new glitter and some ribbons and buttons...it was an inspiration from a creation at our 2013 Convention...check out the shelve above....see the picture I also created using the same package of DSP and decorated a fun frame...more about that later....

And one final share....some cards....more information on these on future posts...how about a class?  They are so fun and easy to create.....
