Today starts the beginning of a long weekend for me...and of course Labor Day...it's not starting out to be a great one weather wise, so I figured now would be the best time to do some blog catch up and also my next upcoming class scheduled for September....mission accomplished!
Here's what we will be creating at my next upcoming class in September - All Holiday class...it's gonna be a fun one and we'll be using some fun new products from Stampin' Up! and I also have a fun new technique to share with you. I focused on it the other day on my post...but figured if you needed a hands on approach, come to class and you'll have one creating a fun holiday card...Here's the picture of what you will create the night of class:
Class will include (starting from the left) a Thanksgiving (Harvest type) card using the Ghosting Technique, a Halloween card to give to your favorite goblin, a different spin on a Christmas card using out of the box colors (Christmas isn't just red/green anymore) and also a fun little treat container which would be great to give out as a special treat on your holiday table as a thank you gift (I love doing thank you gifts for my guests that attend my holiday dinners).
Let me know if you are interested in attending class. Cannot attend class? Ask me about how this class will come to you in the mail and you can create it at home at your spare time...nothing like creating at home? (or be sure to check out mypaperpumpkin.com for even more every month crafting...and the special ends tomorrow....$10 for the next two months special! Woo Hoo! Offer expires 8/31/13...so sign up online today...you can cancel anytime or opt out for a month if you so desire..it's totally up to you!
Stampin' Up is also doing a monthly bring back of stamps celebrating our 25 years....These are favorite stamps over the years and one added to each set brand new...here's the Best of Halloween set which was released this month and what I have been creating using this fun set.
Got some use of my Washi Tape also on this one....if you aren't into ribbons and bows, Washi Tape will be your new best friend.... :-)
Here's another fun card using the same image and also what the stamp set looks like...it's acrylic but if that's not for you, you can always mount it onto wood blocks you have....
Did you know that the "Best of" stamps will be available through the early part of next year and all the months can still be purchased...they are so inexpensive and if you purchase six of these released stamp sets, you'll receive a FREE stamp set! Woo Hoo!...Isn't Stampin' Up! the bomb? Love it!
Well, back off to creating....I'm babysitting Travis this weekend as Michelle goes off for a much deserved rest at the beach...I cannot wait for him to arrive...we are going to have so much fun....I'll have pictures to share on Facebook and maybe you'll even see a new scrapbook page :-)
Have a happy stampin' day!
Susan
