Magnificant Maple Thinlits Circle Card Kit Tutorial

Hello Stampers!

Happy Thursday

I have a fun tutorial to share with you today.  This is a fun card we created at my last Stamper's Six Club (I'm starting a new club in November, so if you would like more information, just let me know).

I made this card using the Thinlits Circle Card Kit # 133480

Let's Get Started.....

First off I cut my cardstock and piece of DSP Sweater Wheater and adhered the DSP to the left hand side of the card base, only adhering Snail to the left hand side of the DSP and top and bottom, no adhesive to the right hand side of the DSP

I then place the Thinlits on top of the cardstock/DSP

I placed this between two cutting pads and ran it through the Big Shot

After running through the Big Shot, this is what you will get.  Because you did not put adhesive on the right hand side of the DSP, it will create you circle and you fold lines are alraedy scored for you...WOWSIE, right?  Woo Hoo!  The rest is simple....

I inked up the Magnificant Maple Stamp with Crushed Curry and used a dauber to add some highlights of Tangerine Tango

And...here's what you end up with (or yours will be different)....

The Circle Framlits comes with other components, one being this scallop circle which is a perfect fit for my mple leaf...you'll put this ontop of the leaf and run it again through the Big Shot

A little Snail to put it all together adding some DSP to the back of the inside of the card.  Add your scalloped design...and to top it off....some Linen Thread tied as a bow to the left hand side of your card and a stamped sentiment to the inside right bottom...and VOILA...you have created a fun interactive fold out card....so simple...yet so elegant...the picture doesn't do this card justice stampers

My grandson turns two in just a few short weeks and he is having a "Mickey" birthday, so gramma is creating his invitations using this same design....I'll share with you my Mickey punch art and the card as soon as they are complete...only need to add up the finishing touches....love it so far!

Now....let's see what you create....Till next time...Happy Stampin!
