Just want to give a huge thank you for those of you placing online orders with me...I so appreciate your business and your friendship.
Two weeks ago we made a trip to the pumpkin patch. It was so much fun...I've been doing my MDS scrapbook pages and Sunday we did our pumpkin carving...this is a fun event we do each and every year...and it's so much fun to do and spend some quality family time...so being pumpkins are in the air this week....
I'd like to share a Technique Tuesday project with you....A Fun Pumpkin Punch Art
Here are the materials I used to create my fun project:
Using the oval punch and Pumpkin Pie cardstock, punch out three ovals.
I then sponged the edges of the pieces using Chocolate Chip ink...don't you love the idea of using a binder clip onto the sponge....keeps the fingers nice and clean...
Okay...so here they are....all sponged....
Then using Old Olive cardstock, I cut some 1/4 inch strips (or less if you want) to create the pumpkin stems.
Then just rolled up the stems like this...
You can assemble the pumpkin plain (see finishing tips below) or spruce it up a bit. I used my Chalk Talk stamp set and coordinating framelits to cut it out..
Okay...here's the assembly process using Stampin' Dimensionals...
Assemble them all together and add the Chalk Talk framelits.....
And here they are all finished...adding a cello bag with some fun Harvest Mix and it makes a great give a way for the fall holidays....My Stampin' Sue's Swap Group each received one and I've also handed them out to friends and family this year...they love it...and if they want, they can reuse the pumpkin on cards, scrapbook pages, etc....fun!
I hope you enjoyed this punch art..I love sharing my stampin' crafts with you.
Again, thank you for being a customer and a stampin' friend with me. Please feel free to pass on my blog address to your friends and family and also..check me out on Pinterest..I upload pictures of great projects I create on there as well as my Facebook Stampin' Sue Page!
Enjoy your day! Happy Stampin!
Susan
