It's Wednesday....and do you know what that means?

Okay...yes..hump day...but the biggest and most important day of the week...Challenge Day with my Borderline Buddy friend, Leanna.

It was Leanna's turn to pick the challenge this week...and...here challenge was.....drum roll please........
Card in A Box!
Okay...so it was a challenge, but not a huge one for me as I had already created one of these...with my Swap Group for this month...I'll have that to share with you after tomorrow's swap day.
But, you all know me...and I couldn't just stop at one...nope!  I had to create more than one...so...here goes:
This one is so fun...I used the Bird Builder Punch (minus the bird).  It has the best stem included with that punch (and yes, Alison....I had used it prior to you asking about it).
The stamp set I used was  Flower Shop (pg. 94 in catalog) with the coordinating Pansy Punch. Most of the flowers were stamped on Whisper White CS but the yellow flowers were stamped with Black Staz On using Daffodil Delight cardstock. I then just used my Daffodil Delight Marker and colored in the centers of some of the flowers.  I think a bit of Dazzling Diamonds would be the perfect touch but I figured it wouldn't show up well on a picture so I did without.  Love this card in a box...

Here's a close up of my flowers...

Okay...I had to do one kind of masculine, but not really..I like to fish too....

The stamp set I used was By the Tide Pg 77 in the catalog.  Yes I did fussy cut all those stamped images out but I had a movie going on Netflix (no endorsement there but I love it).   After I was done I thought it was a bit much, but you know what they say..go big or go home....so big I went!  lol

Here's a close up of my coloring skills...sometimes...the messy...the better...if you notice, I used our Window Sheets (some scraps I had in my scrap box) and put the fish on that and attached to the box..kind of made them seem like they were "floating" through the card.

I kind of wanted to throw in something kind of knot-like so I ventured into my drawer of retired items and found this rope like type ribbon (may still be on the Clearance Rack)....and just tied a knot.

So that's my challenge...now...head on over to Leanna site to see what she has created for this week's challenge.....

Have a wonderful stampin' day and thanks for checking out my blog...hope to see you visit again soon!

Susan
