I thought I would share another project on creating a bow using our Envelope Punch Board. This was part of a card we created at my class from last week. Love this quick and easy bow.
I used our new Watercolor DSP...Love this paper. Cut your strips 6"x 1" and 3" x 1"
Next, using our EPB. you are going to punch in the center of these strips on each long side...on the 6" piece you will punch at 3 and the 4" piece you will punch at 2"
Here's a close up...
You can chose any length of your choice.
Here's what your strips will look like when complete.
You are going to insert the 4" piece end and punch creating the tails of your bow.
Just like this......
And here's what you'll have...the tails to your bow.
On the 6" piece you are going to use the corner rounder on your EPB..yes...there is a corner rounder...woo hoo!
And here's what your two pieces will look like...ready for assembly!
I used our Mini Glue Dots to assemble the bow.
Put a glue dot on each short end of the larger piece.
Bring the rounded edges to match the center rounded edges..it's okay that the center looks not so nice...you aren't going to see it.
Just like this....
Then flip it over and glue to the bottom of your other bow piece...
I just cut a scrap snip lit...about 1/4 inch wide by 1" or so and then wrapped that around the center holding onto the back with a glue dot.
And...Voila...your completed bow!
So there you have it...hope you enjoyed this fun tutorial on creating a fun bow using our Envelope Punch Board!
Come on by tomorrow...it's Borderline Buddies day...come and see what Leanna and I have created using the Intro My Paper Pumpkin Stamp set....some fun ideas...I cannot wait!
See you tomorrow!
Have a happy stampin' day!
Susan
