I tried posting yesterday but was having some computer issues and then I had an accident and never got back on here to continue....Not to worry...I'm okay but I had a head injury when I bent over to pick something up in the bathroom and forgot the cabinet door was opened and hit my head on the edge of the cabinet door....ouchie! I got a huge scratch type injury and my head hurt for some time, but I am on the mends....phew! When those things happen, don't you feet so dumb! Oh well!
Anyhow....I wanted to share with you the fact that even though it's March here in NEPA, it is still feeling like winter, but I've been hibernating in my stamp room during these cold days and making it spring indoors....by stamping and creating my fun flowers...I've been having so much fun.
And thus, I have to share with you today.... spotlighting
Spotlighting is a simple technique...simply stamp your image on the front of your card and then stamp it again on a scrap piece of cardstock. I used our Stampin' Markers to color in the image. Then punch out that image and punch out using a larger circle punch of coordinating cardstock (scraps are great for this) and then layer this piece onto the colored image and then adhere that onto the final card.
And...here's what you come out with...
With this image, I focused on the saying from this beautiful stamp set.
Here's a close up on it....I stamped on Crumb Cake cardstock...A little bit of dazzle would be nice to this. I decided not to being it doesn't usually show up well in photographs.
This is so fun, simple and easy to do...so give it a try...don't forget to share your creations with me and I'll share them with others...
Have a super Stampin' Day!
Susan
