It is Friday,,,,,right? lol
With not being back to my full time job yet, it's hard to tell these days what day it actually is.
I have to admit I'm still not up to par to returning back to my full time job....I'm still having pain....still get tired....still needing time to recover from my major surgery, but all in all, I feel pretty good....it just takes time to heal.
I kind of feel that way when something new happens in my life....we are so use to doing things on a routine basis and when something happens to disrupt the everyday routine, it takes time to adjust...just like the retirement lists that were released on Monday...getting use to a new upcoming catalog and getting use to some of my favorites being tucked away and never to be seen again (well, never say never, right).
It will take time to get use to a new catalog, a new seasonal catalog and maybe some changes with Stampin' Up! as well....but change is good....I always remember the rule...if you always do what you always did.....you'll always get what you always got! Food for thought.....right?
So...with old accessories and stamps leaving and new arrivals, I thought I would share with you today some ways I like to "organize" some of my supplies. I don't have a lot of space but I think I've done pretty good working with what I've got (although I need to regroup and reorganize now)
This is a great purchase I made many many years ago...I found it at WalMart and it was originally made for shoes.....now, as many of you know....I'm not a fan of shoes (maybe the only woman out there that feels that way, except for flip flops). This is a great way to store your punches.....and how I store mine....
Now the next share is a great gift I received from my Mom at Christmas a few years back. I suppose you are suppose to hold jewelry in it..but again, being I don't own a lot of jewelry, I found a better use for it....to hold all my containers of Stampin' Up! embelishments...and the best part.....it is double sided...for more the fun or organizing.
Next is where I store my stamps. This rack was left behind when my daughter moved out. She purchased this at a church flea market for only a few dollars...and it is also foldable so if I didn't have any use for it (right), I can fold it up for easy storage...now it's a mess and the rack needs to be cleaned out of old stamps retiring this year....soon....
Next I would like to show you how I store my cardstock (8 1/2 x 11)...I don't really have much 12 x 12 and those CS's and DSP's are stored in the 12 x 12 paper holders...I use to be really organized with my drawers having a drawer for each color group, but it'll be cleaned out and reorganized soon...the rest of the shelves I store other much needed stampin' supplies.
And finally my inks and refills...which will need to be gone through with retired In Colors.... but this little handy item can be purchased through Stampin' Up! and is a godsend!
So, again, I don't have a lot of space to put all my stampin' supplies but I feel if it is out of sight, it is out of mind....so I like to have my items where I can see them...otherwise, I won't use them...now granted, as I am busy creating...things may look a lot worse....but now that I'm looking at these pictures, I need to work or organizing and cleaning up.....so....
Hope you have a great stampin' organized day!
Susan
