Welcome to the Remarkably Creative Blog Tour
When Janet asked me if I would like to join this Blog Tour.....I SAID YES!
The theme for this tour is Stampin' Blends!
Well...HELLO!
I am in love with my Stampin' Blends and I could not wait to create something fun to share for this tour.....wait until you see......and if your budget is limited....
where else can you go but to the Dollar Tree!
So.....I had purchased these wooden blocks at the DT a while ago...and I just kept looking at them and then putting them away....you know how that is?
So...I looked at them one last time (well the way they were in the package) and figured, I am going to use these to create something fun! So, yes...got them at the DT...and they had numbers and letters on them...but I fixed that....straight away!
And...here's what I created:
Aren't these little package ornaments the cutest?
Let's take a closer look.....
So...first off...I used our Stampin' Blends to outline each wood square on the block...then cut the Christmas Around the World DSP Item # 144629 into 1 x 1 squares and glued on using Tombo Glue.
I then adhered the ribbon around to create a piece to hang the ornaments
and each one decorated differently.
The one on the front right I used our Mini Ornaments #144626 and colored with the Stampin' Blends and then trimmed a piece of the Green Sprigs # 144627 from the Holiday Catalog
and adhered using Glue Dots.
The one front left I colored the ribbon with the Stampin' Blends.
The ones in the back were assembled the same way...some can just use as little packages under a small Christmas Tree....and they make great tie ons to packages...
the uses for these little wood boxes are endless.....
I have one more idea to share...not sure if anyone else thought of this..but I used our Acetate Boxes and our Tear and Tape and glued the boxes together and they make a perfect storage solution for the Stampin' Blends! How fun is that!
Thanks so much for the invite Janet....and thank you for hoppin' by!
I cannot wait to see what everyone else has come up with.....so onward to the hopping!
Have a SUper Stampin' Day! Glimmer Hugs!
