Happy National Scrapbooking Day!

Hello...it's the weekend!  Woo Hoo!

Did you also know that it's National Scrapbooking Day?  Do you have any plans to scrapbook today?  Maybe you didn't even know it was such a day as this, but there is!  Seems as though there is a day for everything lately...but scrapbooking.....what does that word mean to you?

Let me tell you what it means to me....it means...taking my photographs and documenting all the important (or not so important) things that happen day to day in my life and preserving those memories....sometimes when I look at my children, I cannot even believe where the years went.....opening up a scrapbook brings back all those fond memories of all the good times that happened and how wonderful life can be. 

My son is now 27 and my daughter is going to be 24 and it's still unbelievable that I'm a Gramma and that my grandson is 2 1/2.  It just seems like yesterday that I was going to school related activities, running to sport activities and Cub Scout events.  Opening up that scrapbook brings back a flood of emotions and brings a smile to my face.

So...how about you?  Don't you sometimes wish you took all those photos and organized them into a scrapbook and could just open up a book and bring back all your memories?

It's a digital world and why store all those photos on your computer and do nothing with them?  Create a digital scrapbook and have it printed and you'll be so happy you did in years to come!

Here's a simple Easter card I created...it almost looks 3D, doesn't it?  That's simply done by adding a drop shadow....
