This week it was Leanna's turn to challenge me...and her challenge was to come up with either a Father's Day idea or a masculine card....hah! Easy for me!
Most people have a hard time creating for the guys...but not me...usually...so it wasn't much of a challenge....not to mention my swap group for this month is the same...a masculine card...so if you are a part of my monthly swap group...you might not want to look any further....

Here it is...I am loving this idea...it is a CASE from a card I saw online, but I put a bit of a spin on things to change it up a bit.
The stamp sets I used are The Open Sea and Yippee Skippee.
I stamped the ship on Whisper White and then used the Coastal Cabana Blendability Markers to color the ocean. I used the Chocolate Chip Stampin' Markers to color the bottom of the ship and an aqua painter with Soft Sky for the background. I also used the grey and Cherry Cobbler to color the chip. The anchor was stamped with Black Staz On on Grey CS and fussy cut out.
I used two punches to punch out the port hole and also the ship and used Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of them and added a bit of bling using our Basic Rhinestones...even men need bling, right?

The colors CS were Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight and Early Expresso. I got this color combination by using my Color Coach (a girl's best friend for the color challenged).
The background was run through my Texture Boutique and the Woodgrain embossing folder.
I stamped the saying on Whisper White and just cut it into a flag shape with my scissors.
So...that's my challenge this week.
