Happy Wednesday and Borderline Buddies Day!
Yup...it's that time again....I'm always happy for BB Day...not just cause I get to show you some great new challenges each and every week...plus the fact that my BFF Leanna gets to be creative as well and I am honored to share her projects with you, but also....because it's over the hump day! Yipee!
Don't get me wrong...I love Wednesday to share with you our weekly challenges.
It was Leanna's turn....I also am a nail bitter waiting to hear what she has to challenge me with...and this week....well...definitely getting me to step outside of my comfort zone....
Leanna's challenge this week was to create either a box, bag, tag or something that would be for gift giving....well...I was at a loss..I had one project done but just didn't feel it was worthy..maybe I'll share that later this week....so I was doing some reorganizing over the weekend in my stamp room..okay...so it's just moving things here and there and putting into the closet (kind of like the basement)....lol..anyhow..I came across a Make 'n Take from a convention in the past....and being this is convention week and I'm not attending...I felt it just perfect to now create it...so..okay..it was more like a Take 'n Make...and now I'm making it...lol
And....not wanting to keep you waiting any further....here it is!
So.....using the items in the kit mostly but changing up the stamp sets and such.....it's a great box that sleeve can come off and you can fill with your favorite snacks to share...chocolate always come to mind....
Another view of the "feathers"..how did I make them...easy...punch out a circle....then use the punch and put into the punched circle to create a leaf shape...fold in half and then using your Paper Snips make small cuts on the open side of the "leaf"...and that's it!
In this picture, you can kind of see the bottom of the box inserted into the sleeve.
