Friday Sharing....what I was gonna post on Wednesday

Yup....Friday..woo hoo!

As you may or may not know, I always do my blog postings on a weekend for the week...and sometimes it doesn't happen, but I try....the weekends...always a different story...if I get a chance, I post...but these days my life has been pretty hectic...with my daughter and grandson moving back in with me....but that's what family is all about.

So....this is the posting I didn't post for Borderline Buddies on Wednesday..this was my first attempt at a bag, tag/gift giving idea.....

I was using the linen bags that we sell as well as the tag kit in the new catalog. 

I was also using a new stamp set that I just received for FREE....yup..my choice...FREE from Stampin' Up!....dont'cha love FREE? 

 

 

The polka dots were created on the bag using a new stencil SU has available. It comes in a set of two and they are really nice....it has the circles and lines...and the other one has stars and hearts. 

I filled a Stampin' Spritzer 3/4 with alcohol and used a reinker to color the alcohol..  Put the stencil on top of the linen bag and spritzed away....that created the faint polka dots (I had wanted them to be darker but didn't seem to get that affect...didn't want to spritz anymore so that it ruined the dots design). 

 

I used the candy dots on the tag. 

 

And it's ready to fill with your favorite goodies.....chocolate?  YUM.
