Phew...it's Monday again...I didn't even have a chance to blog since Thursday...thought I would have some time to squeeze some blogging in, but it just didn't happen....
Hope you had a nice 4th of July! I had a BBQ at my house for my family...it was a nice day....and weather wise...a little chilly but I'm not complaining.....
I'm still adjusting to my daughter and grandson living here with me...it is quite adjustment.....When you are use to a certain way of life and some one/s comes back living with you, it is a huge change,
We were talking the other day about my grandson's birthday...which isn't until November...but my daughter is a lot like me...a planner. He is so much into the super hero's these day...and while it may change ten times over by November, I was working on some possibilities, which I'm going to share with you...the first was a Spiderman card...saw the idea on Pinterest (dont'cha just love Pinterest)
I think this was the majority rules...and most liked.....
Used a retired SU embossing folder (which may still be on the Clearance Rack and cut out an oval using a retired Bigz Die (it was the oval one with a scallop frame).
I then used Basic Black and did a direct to paper onto the embossed web.
The eyes were done using an oval punch and just free hand cut.
This was the square versions....
I started with a black and white sample first...but then was told Spiderman was more a bright blue instead of black..so much for my color coordinating....need to be correct, right?
So that's it for Spiderman...come back tomorrow to see what super hero I created next.
Have a super spider Stampin' Day!
Susan
