Monday and the Chalk Board Banner Kit Creation!

HAPPY MONDAY....and another snow day here in PA....so much for March....lol

So when I was wondering what to post for today....I was thinking spring (hard to when I see inches of snow outside my window) and thinking of a calendar and thought I would share with you a calendar idea.

Stampin' Up! offers demonstrators challenges so the latest challenge was to book two new events for the month of March and thank you all...I did....so I earned for FREE the Chalk Board Banner kit...I wasn't really needing a banner at this time of the year, so I thought I would come up with something else using this fun kit....I was shocked at how much materials was included in this kit....so here's what I created:

I used the banners which have chalkboard on one side and the other you can decorate with the precut banner pieces...I used the jute twine and made it like an easel.

Here's the side view to show you the easel look...which will work perfectly on my desk.

The flower comes together quickly as it is already included in the kit and reminds me of being in the Girl Scouts where we created the tissue paper flowers...You just have to pull apart the paper and create your flower....easy peasy!

Here's the kit which I received for FREE:
