Borderline Buddies Goes Embossed

This week's Borderline Buddies was my turn to suggest the challenge....and I chose Embossing Folders.....Let's see what Leanna has to share with you this week....and head on over to her blog.

I used a variety of Embossing Folders on this card.  Including the Brick Wall Embossing Folder and the Gently Falling Embossing Folder. 

I also used a variety of new products on this card....I have to say that I absolutely love it...I am so enjoying working with this new Festive Fireside  frame-lit

The background was run through the Big Shot using the Brick Wall 6 x 6 embossing folder.      I then used Stampin' sponges and added inks to do some shading...bringing out the brick look.

The window was cut out using the Festive Fireside framelits as well as Hearth and Home stamp set to stamp the pins and coordinating framelits to cut it out.

The outside background was created using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder and then sponged to add the color. I then embellished this with Dazzling Details and allowed to dry.

The sleigh and horse were cut out using the Sleigh Ride Edgelits, and the saying was stamped using    stamp set Winter Wishes

I love the look of this card.....and although it looks involved, is really super simple to recreate...give it a try.....embossing folders and framlits.....the perfect partners!
