To You & Yours Too - Borderline Buddies

It's another week of Borderline Buddies and this week was Leanna's turn to challenge.

Her selection.....create a Christmas card with non traditional colors...now that.....was super fun for me.....as although I enjoy traditions, I also enjoy outside the box ideas.....

I've been in the holiday stamping mode with all the new goodies from the Holiday Catalog 2015, so this wasn't even a problem for me.....

This sample was taken from our Holiday Catalog 2015...it actually was shown at our annual Convention this year.  I used the Mint Macaroon cardstock for the base which was run through the Big Shot using the stars embossing folder and the stamped image was stamped onto the Smokey Slate Cardstock. 

I loved this card when I saw it and being that I had the stamp set (as it coordinates with our Shaker Card Kit in the Holiday Catalog. 

 It's the To You & Yours Too Photopolymer Stamp Set. 

The stamped image was stamped using Craft Whisper White Ink.  One great thing is that when you stamp it onto the cardstock, if it doesn't completely cover, you can always use a sponge dauber to fill it in...it does take a little bit to dry, so be sure to set it aside or use your heat tool to speed along the process of drying time. 

Other items used on the card were our Silver Glimmer Paper and the Snowflake Elements which I colored using our Whisper White Craft ink and a sponge dauber.  I also cut one of our White Doilies and adhered it under the stamped image and a bit of silver thread to the back of the sentiment.
