It's been quite a weekend......hope you enjoyed your holiday weekend here in the US.
It was a hot weekend but yesterday, Monday....was super nice....a bit of rain in the morning but that was replaced with sunshine and cooler temperature....and it was great to be able to open the windows and let the fresh air in.....as opposed to two days with the windows closed and the AC on....
I love refreshing and letting the breezes blow in....kind of reminds me of the new catalog transition time.....out with the old...in with the new.....
I have to say that I was quite upset looking so many stamps this year....along with some favorite accessories but when I saw what was being introduced..>WOWSIE!
So today is the last and final day to purchase anything from the 2015-2016 catalog and tomorrow....not only is it mid week (already) but it's also time for the new catalog!
Woohoo.....Super excited!
I thought I would share with you a card which I created using the Guy Greetings which is included in the new catalog...I love this set...perfect for the "manly" cards (which I sometimes have a hard time creating). I lost my dad a few years ago....but creating cards using this stamp set for Father's Day...brings back many fond memories of dad...I hope you feel inspired...
I created his using the stamp set Guy Greetings...It comes wood, clear or photopolymer... .and a lot of stamps included in this fun stamp set....check out the picture and information posted below!
Even the guys need a little glitter....right?
Not only does this card have glitter.....well....glimmer.....it also has bronze too!
I did some sponging on the cardstock....to make it not so clean...I also used a bronze Sharpie...did you know they make Sharpies now in gold, silver and bronze? fun, huh? I used the Sharpie on our large pearls.....you can color not only the pearls but you can also color the rhinestones too!
Here's a close up of the colored pearls.....
Here is the stamp set I used.....
