Hello and Thanks for coming by today!
I am super excited to share another fun project with you.
When I saw this stamp set and the little fireflys, it so reminded me of when I was a little girl (a few years ago) and going over to my grandma/grandpa's house. We use to go out when it was getting dark with a mason jar (and a lid with holes in it) and collect fireflys. We actually called them "lightening bugs". This card I created brings back such fun memories capturing these little light bugs with all my cousins and brother. It was such a fun time....unfortunately I don't see as many of these bugs as I remember there being many years ago....but it was super fun.
The background was created using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder and the Big Shot. I created it using the Daffodil Delight cardstock.
The jar was created stamping with Staz On ink onto our Window Sheets and cut out with the Framelits.
The fireflys were stamped onto Whisper White and then using the Daffodil Delight ink stamped with the little circle stamp included in the set and then cut out with the Framelits.
I thought it would be fun to have an extra firefly that escaped from the jar....lucky him, right?
I added a dimensional to the outside firefly.
Now...really....it's time to order this fun stamp set and coordinating Framelits....here's what you will need to get the fun started.....
