Labor Day: What it Means

Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers.

 

It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

 

So....that my friends, is what Labor Day is....but what does Labor Day mean to you?

To me, the end of summer.....a reason to have a cook out....to enjoy a relaxing long weekend....

A day to just kick back and enjoy!

 

Whatever you do on Labor Day...I hope you enjoy the day....whether it be doing something that you love with others.....or completing a to do project that needed to be done....or to sit down and finally get those thank you cards complete...and swap cards ready to mail!  :-)
