Watercolor Paper and Dragonflies...The Perfect Mix!

How Did She Do That?

 

Let me tell you...SUper Simple!

 

 

The background CS is Watercolor Paper and all she did was using a few of our new Watercolor Pencils....WHAT?  WHAT?????   Watercolor Pencils?????

 

Yes...that's right...they are coming back...in the Occasions Catalog....OMG...are you excited?

I am excited...I always loved our Watercolor Pencils...actually I hoarded mine (remember them...they came in a tin?)...the unfortunate part of the previous Watercolor Pencils were that they didn't match our colors...but HELLO...these do! 

 

Okay.....sorry.....I got off track....

 

So to create this technique.....take multiple like colors and scribble onto your Watercolor Paper (have you used this paper....you must!).....You can do as little or as much as you would like closely together. Like this....

 

Then with our Stampin' Spritzer filled with plain ol' tap water.....spritz the paper with the water....it will kind of bead up and then bleed out....(no worries...no cardstock was hurt during this technique)....and it gives you that watercolor look....be sure to set aside and allow to dry...or you can use your heat tool and help it dry quickly....
