One of THOSE days?

 

Well...today....is the day.....

 

I have been struggling with pain...lots of pain....for quite a while....and finally got to see a rheumatologist and it appears that my Rheumatoid Factor was 3x what it should be....so the doctor put me on a steroid about a month ago...and I have to say...I have never felt better in all my life!

 

Unfortunately, all good things come to an end...it was a tapering type dose..and now that prescription is done .... about a week now....and the pain....it's back.....

 

Not to mention that it is in the teen's as far as degrees here in Northeastern PA...and I'm sure that contributes to the pain.....

 

so....I'm complaining....yes...it all hurts....everywhere.....

 

 

So what do I do when I have these flare ups?

 

I stamp......as I am limited to medications to take being I have had one kidney removed for cancer...and have to be careful as I need that other kidney to be happy....and continue to function...for hopefully many many more years....so stamping helps combat the pain.....

 

Most people would want medications...but being I cannot.....keeping my hands (although hurting)...busy and creating beautiful works of art....help my well being as well as my pain levels.

 

I always tell everyone.....stamping is my therapy...for many things....including pain, sadness, happiness, hurting, depression, anxiety, etc....and it can help you too!
