Happy Easter Monday!

If you celebrate Easter, I hope you had a wonderful day.....it truly is certainly a new beginning...a new week...and a new time to reflect and start a whole new!

I had a wonderful Easter weekend.....the weekend started off with Good Friday....and getting together with family......and then the fun continued with Saturday preparations....as I was the bread/dessert maker this year.  

I spent the day yesterday at my daughters as she hosted our Easter Celebration...it was a wonderful time celebrating the Easter Resurrection and enjoy all the holiday favorites including kielbasi, ham, smoked chicken and lots of other yummies.  

We started doing a everyone bring something......my son/girlfriend created some fantastic smoked foods including smoked chicken along with the favorite smoked green bean casserole.  

All was enjoyed and now onward to the after Easter taking down of the decorations, enjoying the holiday leftovers (yum)....and getting back into the swing of things...and thinking of the next time for family gatherings...which I suppose is Mother's Day!  

This was also a sad holiday for me as it being the first holiday without mom...and I'm sure Mother's Day will be sad as well...but let's not think about that right now....as I know Mom/Dad are looking down and smiling as we carry on the family traditions....well the holiday foods that is...and it changes from holiday to holiday as to who is the host house, etc.  

With the beautiful weather, now comes the dreaded outside work...which I MUST get to this week...before Aurora has to weed through a jungle in my back yard! :-)

That means.....less time for stamping...but there is always after a time of hard yard work to sit down and stamp...and enjoy the quiet and relaxation that stamping brings me!
