Hope you had a wonderful weekend...and to all mothers....a Happy Mother's Day!
I had a great weekend....Saturday I was making dessert for Mother's Day...since my mom passed away in January, it seems as though the dessert making torch has transferred into my hands...that's good...cause I rather make desserts than cook any day!
I spent Friday evening working on some Chalk Couture projects...that were on my list including some inking and chalking....and word of caution to those Chalk Couture lovers...if you don't use your Chalk Paste and just let it be....it will solidify...so I did a lot of adding water and mixing....and bringing it back...but the inks were fine...so I inked two Tee shirts.....a pillow....four placemats....and more! It was fun...I enjoy doing a variety of crafty type projects...not just stamping.....so it was a lot of fun!
So....this week....I am focusing on Lovely As a Tree....which is our oldest stamp set still in the catalog...It was introduced back in 2001....and I have the original wood mount in the clam shell case!
