May is the time to think spring! It's also time to think spring clean up....and that's just what's happening at my house....A huge thank you to my Friend, Frank, he offered to help (actually do) some cutting of my lilacs that adorn the entire side of my house. I love them...and they are in full bloom....however, over the years....even though I trimmed...they have become very overgrown....and I also have ivy that grows on the ground which upon cutting them, discovered they have been squeezing the life out of my lilacs....thus making the decision to cut them all down entirely....even finding an empty nest in one of them...so the process continues....but I'm excited about what I will be able to replace the entire area with....now that 65% of them are trimmed...wow...I think I can even park my car there! Hmmmmmmm......
