Hello and Good Friday Morning

Hope you are keeping cool these past few days.

I am so excited that my son was able to install (during the heat wave) my split system AC unit.  After the Lee flooding last year, I had lost my AC unit and have been putting off as to what I was going to do, so ended up making a decision to use a split system unit in my home for my downstairs (we use window units for our bedrooms)....well Ricky was able to get it installed (yeah!).  I thank God each and every day for having a son so handy to help me out!  So, stampers...we now stamp in cool (sometimes cold) comfort!

Had a great evening stamping last night during my class....overwhelming response to reschedule my Coffee And A Card Class to create the Double Fold Card using Betsy's Blossoms.  If you are interested, don't wait as class is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, 6/26.  Here is the card you will be creating.

The card was created using some scoring and folding.  It looks difficult but really isn't.  I used the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set and coordinating Designer Series Papers. If you are interested in attending, please sure to RSVP me ASAP to save your seat!

Remember the sour cream containers?  It's a blast from the past and what is old is new again....we created these last night and filled them with goodies.  It is also created using the DSP that coordinates Betsy's Blossoms.  The size of the DSP is 5 x 7 and very easily made, first by making the paper into a roll (like a toilet paper roll) and then folding in the edges and crimping them to decorate the edge.  No stamping involved for this project :-(

Using our punches, a little bit of white gel pen, dimensionals and ribbon...and your project is complete.  Many ideas flowed around including upcoming Halloween to make cute hand outs for your trick or treaters!  Fun project and easy to assemble and recreate a ton of.
