I thought I would share with you some great masculine cards we created at my Monday class. If you missed it, don't worry...contact me to schedule your own in home class and invite all your friends and family and we can all be "masculine" together! lol
I had a full class for this one. Seems like we can never have enough ideas for the guys in our lives. Everyone seems to think that stampin' is just for women and/or that stampin' is all female related...not so and I'll show you!
I do my blog posts usually a week in advance, but I have a male stamper coming to class, so I'll have to fill you in and if he isn't shy..maybe he'll allow me to take his picture just to show you that stampin' is for real men! Right Fred?
Okay...here are the cards we created:
First to the table....stamp set, The Open Sea....lovin this...
We also used the Designer Series Paper Martime...striking card...
I love this stamp that comes in the kit where it looks like a ship's log...
The colors were Night of Navy and Real Red.
Next up...when I think of men, I think of wooded areas and trees....so hence, Lovely As A Tree
I used the Hardwood Background stamp and when preparing this card, I realized that I didn't even have to mount my stamp onto the acrylic block (I have the background in acrylic). It was just as easy, as if not easier with no mounting!
Funny story about this set...we were told at last year's convention, this set will NEVER retire! and that came from our CoFounder and CEO, Shelli Gardner..and thousands of us at the event heard it! Woo Hoo!
Next up...only one stamp for this one...and it's the saying from Yippee Skippie....a free stamp I received at convention last year.
The background was created using retired Square Lattice embossing folder...being it retired we will be using another folder (but check the clearnce rack for this folder).
The "wrenches" were created with some fun punch art! Love it? ME 2!
So see...stamping isn't just for women....men stamp too...
Have a super Masculine Stampin' Day!
Susan
