Hello Stampers




I'm blogging this morning from a different computer, so I'm not able to share any pictures with you...just some light reading.


I had a great get together with some of my downline members yesterday. Everyone brought something to add to our luncheon as well as a project.  


It was great fun...we chatted, had lunch, chatted, created fun projects...oh...and we chatted...did I say that already?  Okay...so we do a lot of chatting....we had a lot of great ideas flowing around the table.


As many of you know, I host a monthly card swap with a theme for each month.  It at times has been difficult to get together to swap, sometimes stampers don't have enough supplies to create multiples of one card or project and sometimes live gets in the way that we don't have sufficient time to create our themed project...so I had an idea...something that I hope you will like...maybe some of you will not.,,,,but here goes:


I am going to create a Facebook account for Stampin' Sue's Monthly Card Swap.  Anyone can join...that's the fun of it,,,and all you need to do is create one of the monthly projects, take a picture of it and then post it on Facebook....if you have problems doing that, just let me know and I can post your project for you....I figured in this day of social media, we will be able to get stampers from all over the world (yup..we are going global for this one) to participate in this monthly swap...that is a win/win situation for everyone in that you will get a lot of more ideas to be creative.  All I ask is that you incorporate Stampin' Up! supplies.  You can use retired items...as long as they are Stampin' Up!


So...who is in?  I even thought we could vote on the postings and someone will win something small...like a handstamped card from me (if that's okay)..maybe in the future we can venture off onto small little prizes....lets's give this a try and see how it goes.....

I hope you like this idea...I'll be gatherine up the monthly ideas starting for August...they will be due on the 15th of each month to be posted online....and more details to follow...you can participate in each month or not....just post or don't post....I'll get working on this fun new idea and hope you are as excited about it as I am...please feel free to pass this information along to other Stampin' Up! friends....the more the merrier!
