Happy Borderline Buddies Day!

Today is the day that my BFF Canadian Friend, Leanna and I challenge each other every week to come up with a certain project, technique, etc.

This week was my week and although I felt it was going to be no problem, gosh....I just totally lost track of time....

My challenge this week was Christmas In July.

Seems like everywhere you look and everything you hear is Christmas in July...so why not stamping too?  Right?

Well, my idea is simple, basic and a CASE I saw on Pinterest....using The Work of Art stamp set.
I think this is one of my "go to" stamps when needing something fun and easy to create...so here's what I have for you today:

Just by taking the "swoosh" stamps, I created the tree.  The trunk was created with the same stamp set and I also used Gorgeous Grunge to make the "ornaments" on the tree.  The star was stamped with the star from the Itty Bitty Punch Group of punches and a bit of bling by adding a rhinestone in the center.   Simple, quick and easy...and a little thinking outside the box.

Now, let's head on up to Canada to see what Leanna has created for us:

Have a super stampin' day!

Susan
