Get Your Ink

Do you get confused about what inks to use
where? Here are some tips that may help!
FIRST: Stock up on our Classic ink pads before they
increase 55 cents EACH in about 10 days.
|
They're dye inks and are activated by
water so they're best for basic stamping, but not for watercoloring. Markers
are also dye ink based. It's always a good idea to purchase the refill along
with your ink pad so that they'll last a long
time.

StazOn (in Jet Black or White) is a solvent based ink
& works well with watercoloring or on nonporous surfaces like Window Sheets.
Don't forget the StazOn Cleaner when the ink is stuck on your
rubber but NEVER use the StazOn Cleaner on photopolymer
stamps.
|
VersaMark & our Whisper White Craft ink
are pigment based inks. They take a much longer time to dry
because they leave a coating of ink on the paper that doesn't absorb well.
They are water soluble so you'll want to
emboss them if you want to use another ink with them or watercolor.
They can soak into a more porous card stock
(like our colored card stock) for a great toned look.
Stamping in Whisper White before embossing
with Whisper White Embossing Powder will give you a more brilliant white on dark
card stock.
Have a super stampin' day! Glitter Hugs!
