Hello.....
I'm continuing from my posting yesterday sharing a gift package I have created for an upcoming baby shower I am attending.....so if you want to see my thank you cards, you can see them from yesterday's post. Today...I'm sharing my Baby Book I created using Project Life.
The best part of Project Life especially when giving it as a gift...all they have to do is to insert photos into the sleeves on the pages...easy peeey memory keeping books!
I started off by purchasing a 6x8 Project Life Album. I then used the Zoo Babies stamp set along the bottom of the cover and stamped the animals and then used a
Garden Green marker to create the grass.
I was inspired to create this album from a fellow demo, Patty Bennett at www.pattystamps.com
I then also purchased two packages of the Variety Pack 6 x 8 Project Life Photo Pocket Pages along with 6 x 8 Project Life Envelope Pages. These pages are a heavy duty polypropylene page protectors perfect for storing cards or memorabilia.
The card collection I used was Hello Baby Boy PL Card Collection along with the coordinating Accessory Pack. She already knows she is having a boy so that made it easy. The Card Collection also comes in a girl format but the Accessory Pack can be used for either girl or boy.
For the first page in the album, I used a piece of Loss Lagoon CS and decorated it and adhered one of the 4 x 6 cards in the collection. I figured they may have a lot to write the day the baby arrives :)
The accessory kit also comes with all these embellishments including Washi Tape!
This was the back side of this page.
From then onward, I inserted the cards throughout the book.
The collection includes a card for parents to write about the day the baby was born.
And also has a card for each month for the first year.
It is super fun to create and so easy...and makes a very nice gift for the parents to be.
A few more pages.
In the back of the book I added a few extra pages and included all the remaining cards and embellishments into the Envelope Pages for them to add wherever they wish.
The best part is all they have to do is add photos and the cards can be moved around as they wish and make it their personal month by month book for the baby....what fun it will be years from now for them to share with their son and all the stories that we forget along the way to jot down for memories that last a lifetime.....
